There are countless land- and waterways crossing the lower Mühlviertel in Upper-Austria – here, the river Danube has dug his way through the Strudengau, passing by the little town of Grein. The river Danube ist the second longest waterway in Europe, crossing 10 countries , more than any other river in the world.

„The Silent Mountain“ …a battle we have fought !

As prop-master in the team of production-designer Tomy Vögel I was on duty fort the movie-project „The Silent Mountain“ – from march until september. A love story in the middle of 1. world war confusions at the italien/austrian mountain front in the South-Tirolien Dolomites 1915/1916.

The Strudengau – a beautiful film-scenery !

The Mühlviertel in Upper-Austria is the region to which I focus best attention. Located in the eastern part of the Mühlviertel lies the Strudengau, the part of Austria I am originated from, a beautiful region which I just began to rediscover – as a film-scenery!
